Breville ikon toaster - Kitchen Appliance Design
Lift and Look feature allows you to lift the toast lever throughout the toasting progress to monitor toasting without interrupting the cooking cycle.
This product was designed specifically to meet a low target price but achieve a high value aesthetic while maintaing a ‘toaster-like’ personality.
Cube's contribution to this project is the concept generation and external design. Breville's in-house designers and engineers completed the design and engineering in collaboration with the manufacturer.
This toaster is part of the Breville IKON range. Cube was instrumental in the conception of the IKON range - we perceived a need for a more formalised aesthetic in bench-top appliances to bring them in line with other components of the modern kitchen while not losing the essential obvious function of each type of product.
